How do I get my husband's daughter to move in with us in Sims 3 ?

  • Ok so I married Buck Broke i believe that's his name . And when you get married you see the 'Move' thingy to make him move in with me , but I forgot to move in his daughter in with me . So how can I make his daughter move in with us because we are expecting a baby soon & my female sim has a trait 'Family-Oriented' i want our house to be a big family .

Bring up the main menu through the three dots button at the bottom left corner. Click Edit Town. Yes, save your game if you have been doing something. Then click on the broke household and find the button that lets you split up the family (can't remember the name, sorry). You should see the list of people like you did when you got married. Select whoever you want and move them to the other side, you will be putting them on the clip board. From there I think you can just click on your home and click the same button and move her into the family. Something like that.

Make either your wife sim or the husband sim get really close to the daughter relationship wise and sooner or later the "Ask to move in" command will appear and if the daughter sim accepts, then there you go!
