Call of Duty Modern Warefare 2 Steam Problem?

  • I recently purchased Modern Warfare 2 on Steam today and was installing it on my computer, the install was successfully and I double-clicked the icon to play. It said "Preparing to launch Call od Duty: Modern Warfare 2" in a small window and then instantly closed. Then it came back up, then instantly closed. It keeps doing is. I tried verifying the games integrity files but it had no problems. I am running it on Windows 7 64 Bit and have never had this problem with any of the 16 Steam games I have. What is the problem and how can I fix it? This game was not cheap.

    If you can refund it or retail it a amazon or ebay. what most likely happened was that the game either had too much data for your comp to handle, or it was used and treated horribly by the previous owned.
