Will this GameBoy link cable work for me?

  • I'm getting my younger cousin who's really into Pokemon a birthday present, and one item on the list was a GameBoy link cable. He has a Gameboy Advance SP and a GameBoy Advance, and he's going to use the link cable to trade his Pokemon or something from one game to another. And I went out and bought a few link cables. And I tested them out on my own GameBoys, but they didn't work. I went online to a forum and discovered that a Game Boy Color link cable is required to link Game Boy Color games (like Pokemon Blue and Red) being played on Game Boy Advances.
