Should I sell my Wii on eBay?

Should i ask my mom if we can sell the wii on ebay because i feel very guilty about it?

  • I begged my mom to buy me a wii for my birthday and after weeks of begging we went to look for one! they were all sold out and i waited weeks and eventually we bought a new one for $220 at gamestop. Now about 6 months later im regretting getting the wii! It's a ******* gamecube with motion sensing =(. I have everything that it came with plus 5 games. Dragon ball z budokai tenkaichi 3 metroid prime 3 corruption mario kart with wii wheel spiderman web of shadows wii sports Now i wanna ask her if we can sell it on ebay for around $250 so i can buy like a ps3 or something but i dont want my mom to feel bad and im feeling real guilty but seeing a useless piece of **** lying around that i cant even bare to look at hurts me just as much!! what should i do?

  • Answer:

i sincerely think it's a great console. buy the good games like SSBB. if you still don't like it,ask her if you could sell it. you could sell the console plus the games and give her the money. use your own to buy a ps3 or 360

Instead of selling the wii, you could just keep it and save up money for another system. That way you dont have to feel guilty about selling it.

well i used to have the same problem with my wii, but then i bought a couple of new wii games, and then i liked it again so you just have to buy a couple of games, or one awesome game

wow...first off if you do sell it dont sell it for more than you bought it for even though if the 5 games it could work but once you open them their value diminishes ALOT take that from experience i bought a 40 dollar game and once i opened it and tried to return it same day it dropped to 4 dollars, why did you want the wii in the first place though? and all those games you bought for it kindof suck lol no offence i wouldve started with super smash bros. brawl cuz that is an intense game...but i dont want you to waste any more money so i would talk it over with your mom and see what she thinks of the idea be confident

yea mines collecting dust as well but since they sell at gamestop for $199.99 new I dont know if you will be able to get $250 out of it used ..

i probably wouldnt if i went through all that trouble. try looking into ssbb its a good game :)

First of all, you should have researched the Wii and asked yourself, "Do I really want/need this?" So you have two options: One - Actually buy/rent/borrow the good games for the wii (Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Resident Evil 4, Mario Party, etc), and re-consider selling it. Two - Tell your mom you've grown tired of it, and are sorry you made her buy one for you. Hopefully she won't be upset. P.S. - Your mom WILL try to ask for the money back, and given what happened with your Wii, she will be very reluctant to buy you a Playstation 3.

Is your mom strict? Edit the question so I know more about how your mom is, and I might be able to help.
