Where are the best items for oblivion on the 360?

In Oblivion Year of the Game Edition for 360 XBOX I put on these enchant items affects stayed even when off ?

• In one of the Gray Fox missions from the Thieves Guild, I decided to put on a Cuirass of The spy armor that has the 20 % Chameleon constant affect and these gauntlets that detect life for 105 feet. I also put on these two rings that have the Chameleon affect so I was a high 85 for the Chameleon affect with all those enchantment gear. Those were the items I found not made. Well, These affects haven't come off since then. I put on different amor from head to toe or just bare and still no change. ONLY the rings I take off and use them from time to time change the percentage .It always says those active affects on the screen that still says The Cuirass of Spy and what ever those gauntlets were. Its driving me crazy that I can't see myself fighting. It was during the first Cd and now I installed the second. I hope its not permanent. Strange thing , before I put it on, I was a master level with the repair hammer and made it better and I swore the items doubled each. One became Two but I am sure I could be mistaken. Any one got an answer I would like that very much. Thanks

  Sometimes bugs like this can occur... I guess the only thing you can do is search the web for a solution, or what i would try is to make my own enchanted weapon with the same effects, put them on, quit the game, go back into it then take them off and hope for the best :)
