Can an aeroplane get stricken by lightning? And Why?

In the Lightning and Amodar DLC for Final Fantasy 13-2, how do you get the characters after beating them?

  • I just bought the new Lightning and Amodar DLC for Final Fantasy 13-2 and I beat the boss fight against Lightning and Amodar. Now that I've beaten them, how do I actually get them as characters? I thought they would be like monster crystals but I didn't get any monster crystals. I beat them with no stars cause it was really hard and I'm only on chapter 4...did I need to beat them with a certain amount of stars or something?

    From what I can tell you obtain them in the same manner as you do any other monster crystal. Meaning, keep defeating them until you get lucky. I cannot confirm this yet, as I am working on it now. ( I have defeated them about 6 times now with no drop) ill reply if and when I get it

I believe it's just like any other strategy with recruiting monsters: Finish each one off with a Feral Link. I've beat them 3 consecutive times and I still have come out empty handed. My only advise is to persevere until they are both under your ranks.

I got 4 stars and it's my 4th time beating them, i don't know if stars matter, I guess it depends on luck when that you get them or not

I got the lighting crystal on my 2nd battle with no stars.. Now I just did my 10th battle and no adomar. Waiting to get him.. Lighting lvl 7 rav with 900+ magic

i got amodar on 8th fight now im on 16 and no lighting really low dr i got tonberry in 7 so ya>.> ok finall got it it took 17 trys she 700 magic and 700 strength seems wirth it alot better then what i had

stars don't matter but try to finish amodar off last to obtain his monster crystal then use it to fight against then try to finish lightning off last to obtain her monster crystal once you have amodar it's super easy 5 star everytime

beaten them 4 times so far, 5 starred all attempts(don't think the stars matter though). haven't seen a monster crystal yet. killed them in a different order and while staggered and unstaggered, got the 20% extra monster crystal drop fragment skill cut on also. might add in the crystals with a later patch maybe? if they're already in the game, their crystals have a really low drop rate.

I did it first time normal diff and got 5 stars and got lightning she is just a Rev not a com as i hoped, but no luck on amodar yet.

I got Amodar on the first attempt only got 1 star, I guess its all luck. Now to obtain Lightning
