Sims 2 Double Deluxe doesn't work.

HELP sims 2 double deluxe not working?

  • Answer:

Does you computer meet the Sims 2 minimum requirements? Have you tried to completely uninstall then reinstall it again? The Revo Free uninstaller from the web works excellent for uninstalling SIms games off the registry and everything. I tell you one thing, though, you can try disabling those unnecessary programs on start up before you try to uninstall your games. Just click on Run (Click on Start icon, All Programs, Accessories, Run is in there) Click on Run and type in msconfig then click on the Start Up tab. A list of all programs running at start up will be displayed. They will be checked off. Try UNchecking all programs except for the box that is checked off that is your Security System. Make sure your security system stays with a check next to it. Then click apply. You will have to restart your computer. The programs that you have disabled will still run, just not at start up. They don't need to run at start up. They are enabled to run at start up so you don't have to wait for them to load if you want to use them. Give that a shot and see if your Sims games will run for you then.
