XbOX 360 HELP HELP HELP!!!!??!!?

So im thinking about buying a 360, but their seems like a lot of stuff you have to get: so here are my questions: 1. Do you have to get that wireless thing for xbox? to make it online or can i use the wifi at my house? 2.Do i have to buy xbox live gold to be online, because im wondering if you can use the silver card to play against other people in say xbox live? 3.(part 1) So if i were to get and xbox i would have to buy ALL this?! a. Xbox i found one for 260$ b. Wireless about 75$ c. xbox live 12 month gold $60 d. Halo 3 40$-60? (avg. 50$) 450- 500 !!!!!!!!!! FOR AN XBOX AND A GAME !!! AHHH 3.(part 2) people that have an xbox dis it cost that much for you!!!

However, if it's your network and you want to go direct, XBOX has an ethernet port on the back, but, you'd have to disable your wireless router and go directly into your modem. And for online play? Yes, unfortunately, you do need the Gold subscription to play people online. You can download demos and get into XBOX live with the Silver membership, but you can't play online. That's pretty much why they expect you to pay more.
