Answer:
The 360. I got one two weeks ago and haven't stopped playing since. Game suggestion NBA 2K11 the best sports game I've ever played. I also have the ps3 and haven't even thought about playing it or buying any new games for it.

If u like the console exclusive games buy ps3 or xbox 360 if you like to do diff kinds of stuff buy the PC
I'm not going to tell you which one to buy, or which one has "better" exclusives, because that depends on your gaming preference to begin with. And I'm not going to bash either one because I play both and I think CONSOLE WARS ARE STUPID. But I will make a list of pros and cons and include things that some people forgot. ;) XBOX 360 Pros: -Xbox Live (yes you have to pay BUT most of your friends probably are too, so at least you can play online with your friends) -HDMI output (always nice to play on a big screen hdtv) -Can listen to music while playing games (this isn't that much of a pro or con for me, because people have mp3 players now...but it is a feature so I included it) Cons: Everyone knows about the Red Ring of Death. Who cares? I think this depends on the person. I know people who leave their Xbox on all day and haven gotten this multiple times(fixed with towel method), and some who actually take care of it and have never gotten it. As long as you keep it in a ventilated space it should be fine. And if you're that worried just buy a cooling fan. Need batteries for controllers. - This isn't a big thing but just a tip, if you get an xbox or have just one controller, it may benefit you to buy a battery charger and just keep some spare batteries charging while you play. Playstation 3 Pros: -Blu-ray (if you buy this you have yourself a blu-ray player which looks nice on an hdtv :) ) -Free PSN (you can play online for free, and now they have plans that you can buy (Playstation Plus), which gives you early access and discounts to some games) -Internet Browser (this is nice, and is useful if you don't have a computer I suppose, and you can even buy a keyboard to help you with that, but imo it still doesn't compare to a real computer browser, you can open 6 windows at once, and it may cause your PS3 to freeze every now and then) -Sixaxis Contollers ( i had fun with this playing GTA IV) -PS3 controllers charge through the usb built in the ps3 (therefore, no batteries) Cons: Can't play music during gameplay Newer models don't have backwards compatibility so no Ps 1 and 2 games Both: Have Netflix capabilities Play DVDs Can connect to mp3s (only certain ones tho. ex. xbox can connect to zen but ps3 cant. both ps3 and xbox can connect to ipod) hmm as far as PC gaming goes, you'd want to be sure to get a computer powerful enough to handle the games you want to play. As you know a computer has WAY more ways to communicate with other people, and the newer ones can play blu-ray disks too, may even have an hdmi output (this is nice if you hook it up to your hdtv, you can watch your stuff on a bigger screen :P), and can usually play DVDs. I personally don't do too much gaming on my laptop besides the Sims and some playstation emulators, so I cant tell you too much on that.

Xbox 360 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003O6JJKY?ie=UTF8&tag=mixxedbagg-20 PS3 Slim http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003VUO6H4?ie=UTF8&tag=mixxedbagg-20 PROs Of the PlayStation 3 1. user upgradable hard drive: this to me is one of the biggest pros of the PS3 adding your own hard drive. So you can buy the 80 GB version or the 160 GB version and by a 500 GB plus our drive off the Internet for less than $100 and pop it in your PlayStation and you're good to go, so easy it should be illegal! 2. Included Blu-ray player that you can upgrade the firmware on: When I got my PlayStation many of the blue Ray players on the market wouldn't allow you to flash the firmware so as they revised the Blu-Ray standard those players became obsolete. And my thinking is that if you spend $100 plus on a Blu-Ray player why not drop another $150 plus and get a full-fledged PlayStation that can be upgraded. 3. Free PlayStation network: now it is true that the PlayStation network is free the basic network at least. Then they have the PlayStation plus network that cost 50+ a year. Now with the basic free networking of the PlayStation network unlike Xbox live you can't have a buddy list and play with your friends. I like the fact that I don't have to spend $50 a year to play with my buddies. 4. It can be a media server with simple software you can buy online: I have a Mac and use media link software (Google media link) it cost 20 bucks and now I can stream/copy movies and music and pictures from my Mac to my PlayStation 3 it's very cool. 5. Offers folding@home: now this is a huge selling point but I think it's cool! Folding@home is a distributed computing project by Stanford University that deals with protein folding and uses your PlayStation to help the scientists work on understanding how these work. So when you're not using your PlayStation for gaming you can turn on folding in the life with PlayStation application and you'll contribute to helping science! (My PS3 has contributed almost 2000 work units at six hours a pop it's been working hard) PROs of the xBox360 1. Xbox live is just better: while the PlayStation network is free while the basic version anyway. And allow you to do things that Xbox live won't for free the Xbox live network is just better. Simply for the fact that you can send voice messages, you can follow people who are your friends into games (great for if you want to follow a booster in modern warfare 2 and keep on hunting). The only drawback is that it will cost you $40-$60 a year (depending on where you buy your card). 2. Most of the game industry and big time YouTube commentators use Xbox 360: now this is a huge factor if you want to play with the big boys. If you follow Machinima respawn and have directors on there you want a game with most of the time they're playing on Xbox 360. This to me is a large reason to get the Xbox 360 over the PS3. 3. It can be a media center for free: now this is not something that I know or have done but I do believe and please correct me if I'm wrong but the Xbox 360 can stream media from your Windows PC with no extra software required (whereas with the Mac you need to buy $20-$30 software). 4.The Xbox 360 slim as built in WiFi: before this slim was for sale you need to spend $70-$90 to get WiFi for the Xbox 360 and that would have been a pro for the PS3 as it has always had WiFi built in. But now with the slim with its lower price and built in WiFi this becomes a pro of the Xbox 360. 5. MODz: When it comes to modding I believe Xbox has done more options available and a much larger community. From just being able to modd your controller to full on system modification the Xbox is way easier to get into (now remember mobbing your Xbox could get you booted from Xbox live and a permanent ban hammer!)
xbox 360 pros halo fable gears of war alan wake awesome online xbox cons:may get rrod if you get either elite or ps3 but MS should fix it for free no web browser fee for online 50 dollars a year ps3 pros uncharted heavy rain metal gear solid god of war 3 killzone 3 web browser ps3 cons cant play music while you are playing (must not be playing while u r playing music) not as good online can get yellow light of death and sony might charge u for repair
All of them!
xbox 360 i used to have a ps3, i hated it, so i sold it and got a xbox 360, and its a lot better though many people may say ps3 is better, so just go with what your friends have so you can play online with them
PS3 All the way man trust me . Forget about the Crapbox you should never even compare the crapbox with the PS3. CrapBox has a 98% FAILURE RATE> "( Im sorry
It depends on what you like. Action games are better for a PS3 (with the exclusion of Halo, and Call of Duty). The XBOX 360 is better for online play, but it costs the same as a game ($60) for a full year subscription. Online is better for RTS (Real Time Strategy) Games.
