Why do people blame video games for all of societies problems?

Why is that people blame another person for what video games being released?

• I look at the answers people give for why parents complain about video games and many of those answers are valid in a sense. In my opinion....IT'S EVERYBODY'S FAULT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's the parents fault for not being responsible (though we are not to judge them; after all it's not like we know them), it's the child's fault for getting wrapped up in it, and it's the fault of the people who made the game (sin is in the midst of it all) because games and all the other "cool stuff" that's out there has the power to influence positive or negative vibes in the world; because nobody seems to stop and think about how powerful this stuff REALLY IS and how it will affect things. But unfortunately there's nothing we can do about it because it has to happen for the things to come. So if anybody thinks they can respond to this, then by all means TRY.
