Guitar Hero3 vs Rock Band on PS3, which is better? worth it?

I prefer Guitar Hero 3.

I suggest Rock Band, so much more content. You have a lot of different ways to play it too. Guitar Hero is definitely way challenging, but it gets really old. All you play is the Guitar. While you can change it up on Rock Band. Rock Band is easier, but you do play for a lot longer to get all the way thru it. So pretty much the question is, do you want to have a hard time beating a game, depending on how good you are, or do you want to be able to not exactly cruise thru a game, but have a long good time playing a game. Just to let you know, I beat Guitar Hero 3 on Medium in about 7 hours I think. Maybe a little more, possibly a little less. Rock Band took me a long time. Hope this Helps.

Rock Band Bicthes! it is so fun, and plus you could just play guitar alone on rock band anyways(: the songs are pretty good, like some newer ones like from the killers and yeah yeah yeahs! the game is great! the drums are pretty hard though! like i play it on medium and i always fail! but rock band for sure! rock band is like guitar hero, singstar, and a drum game all put into one! it is so fun! get rock band, and i dont think that its that expensive! just get rock band!

in my opinion both are great games. GH3 is alot more challenging rockband is very challenging on drums. GH3 is great for solo play rockband is more fun to play with a group of people (like friends or family) these are just my opinions i got em both =)

if your looking for a chalenge GH3 if your looking for slower less chalenging one with a band rock band i say gh3 is wroth it

Rock Band has a better guitar more instruments but Guitar hero 3 has a way better list of songs out of the box . If Guitar hero had Rockbands guitar Id say Guitar hero 3 was better. Online battle mode is pretty sweet something Guitar hero needs to think about . Rockband is a an awesome party game but by yourself its just not as fun. If you dont have three friends to play with you might want to stick with guitar hero.
