    Legaia 2 Is probably the best! its an RPG Fighting game but much much diffrent then Final Fantasy You're able to set attack commands like UP, UP, DOWN, UP, and it performs an ARTS attack meaning a really cool move like a powerful backflip or a super punch and perform powerful Combos aswell you should definitly look it up! Legend of Legaia is good aswell same style as above! and don't listen to the people below because they didn't answer your question. Legend of Legaia = Playstation 1 (Awesome Gameplay, Meh Graphics, Good Story) 4.5 Stars Legaia 2 = Playstation 2 (Good Gameplay, Good Graphics, Good Story) 3.8 Stars Thats my opinion and the first 1 was the best!

Dragon Quest 8, probably one of the best rpgs of all time

Well, the only good RPG's I can think of is possibly Borderlands and World of Warcraft.

RPG's i can think of on PS2 include Shin Megami Tensei 1-4 (people say that persona 4 is the best) i think that Kingdom Hearts is closer to action RPG so FFVII: Dirge of Cereberus may be worth looking at (its gameplay is close to KH's gameplay style), but it wasn't too well recieved. if you have PS3, Dragon Age Origins and White Knight Chronicles are a good rpgs. Fallout 3 is good too.
