When you buy an x box 360?

Where could I buy a X-Box 360 for a cheap price?

  • Lately, I've been wanting to buy a X-Box 360. I dpon't know if I should buy it from GameStop, Game Crazy, or Best Buy. I know in some stores such as GameStop, you could sell your old systems and games and get something known as "Store Credit." Which could add up enough money for you to get new game system. I have a couple of old Gamesystems and a lot of Gamecube games. The only thing is is that I'm not sure if I want to sell them. I do have more than enough money in cash to buy it and a game, but I don't know if I should. Because then I'll only have a couple hundred dollars left over. Personally, I think it would be worth it. The only thing that I'm afraid of is that if I do get one, I'm afraid that a new and better system will come out once I get it. What should I do here? Should I buy a X-box 360 or should I save my money? Sould I buy it with cash or should I join a "store credit" thing? Please leave a comment or e-mail with suggestions. Thanks for your help

  • Answer:

A new and better system will ALWAYS come out eventually. That's the way of technology. There's always something new and better in the works, and there always will be. There won't be anything new this generation, though. The only thing even rumored to be in development is the Phantom, and that thing has been delayed so many times most people don't think it actually exists anymore. The 360 will most likely be replaced by Microsoft's next console in about 5 to 6 years. That's how it's always been with game consoles. You can either accept that and just buy the 360, or... wait for the next system to come out (which is kind of stupid because it means you miss out on the entire current generation of games). If you want to save some cash, I would wait a week. There's a rumor that K-Mart will be dropping the 20GB to $299.99 for a sale over the 4th of July weekend. If that rumor turns out to be false, try buying a used or refurbished console instead of a new one. New or used, make sure you get a warranty. And personally, I wouldn't bother with store credit. If you want to sell your old stuff, you'd be better off putting it on eBay. Places like EB/Gamestop only give you a fraction of what your games and consoles are actually worth (about 1/4 to 1/3 of what they can resell them for).

it really depends, because if you want good games now, get the 360. if you want even better games, buy the ps3 if you have enough. also, if you buy either systems, here are some good games for both: elder scrolls 4. assassins creed, call of duty 4, guitar hero 3, rockband, and grand theft auto 4 p.s. dont buy it from ebay, since they're all broken, and also, sell all of your old stuff so you can buy the games you want, and have enough money for another system later

If you don't stay home a lot, just go ahead and get a PSP. There's no point of paying extra money if you are going playing the console rarely. As for a bargain shopping, PS3 is really a better deal, especially when I comes to online play. On the 360, you have pay for a subscription to go online. What is the point of paying that when you can go online for free on the PS3? If you can't get online, get a 360. As for as controls go, from my experience with both systems, the PS3 is more responsive. The 360 has a little delay, compared to the PS3.
