Should I Get A Ds Lite Or DSi?

  • im wondering, at christmas should i buy a DS Lite Or DSi Or Not, i have a Psp anyway, and a Gameboy Micro and About 10 games so i can use them on the DS But not DSi, Ive already had 2 Ds Lite's but the first one broke and sold my 2nd one to get my PSP a Year ago but now the DS is getting quite good and much better games! If i got a DS it would be cheaper but less stuff and DSi is more but more stuff id get the DSi in the new colour Metallic Blue or DS Lite in Silver Or Black! Help! Any suggestions or to buy one or not.

    My older brother has a DSi and he absolutely adores it! I think it's pretty neat too! It has internet, it holds MP3 to listen to and mess with , and when I mean mess with, you can make the song go really fast or slow to high pitch to low pitch. You can also change the background when listening to the song like Mario to motorbikes! It interactive! And the coolest thing is that there are some games that you have to interact with your camera!! Warioware Snapped is one of them, and it's really fun! It's kinda like the Eyetoy for PS2, but it's a game for the DSi!! There's alot more you can do like make DSi Flip Book Animation. It were you make a bunch of pictures like a flip book and creat an animation! If you don't enjoy doing that, then you can watch other peoples animations! Some of the animation quite hilarious! XXD There's probably alot more about the DSi, but I don't get to play it much cause my brother plays it 24/7. But I know these's a DSi Shop on it, and you can probably look for alot more things there! So I think a DSi would be the most entertaining! I hope this is helpful.... ~Kayelan =3

i would say the dsi. it is the best thing i have ever brought. it is even better than my wii. i love portable gaming and the dsi is the best thing for the job. u can put all of your music on there set ur alarms play games on a biggar screen record sounds take pictures. no matter where u r the dsi is always a handy little gadget to use. the dsi shop games are getting really good aswell. now is the best time to buy one as you get 100 free shop poits and there re loads of games i wish i could get now. if ypu have a micro there is no point in getting a lite if u have had one, where is the thrill of getting a brand new console ?? and the gba slot is the only good thing on the lite exept the homebrew but think what homebrew u could have on the dsi when they get it working :O its up to you but i think the dsi is great in every way possible. i hope yoou make the right choice :) happy choosing

Since you don't have either, just go ahead and buy the newest one - the DSi.

only game you wont be able to play on a DSi is teh Guitar Hero one's. Most of the other games will prolly work via an r4i card. 2 Cameras at teh expense of teh GBA slot :|

Get the dsi. You can get on the internet with wifi. it has a camera, and it is touch screen. Looks like its time to retire those old games and buy new ones :)

The only reason people get the DS Lite instead of the DSi is they can't afford the DSi. Get the DSi.
