Sims 2 Deluxe Installation help?

The Sims 2 Double Deluxe Installation difficulty, already had Sims 2 installed! Help?

  • Ok, so I've already had the sims2 installed and plenty of expansions. I got the sims2 double deluxe edition to install Nightlife and Celebrations expansion at a lower cost than to buy them seperately. Now, they want me to uninstall the sims2 so that I can install the double deluxe edition! Will all of my sims2 file and expansions be erased (the different neighborhoods and sims) if I uninstall it and reinstall it? HELP ME PLEASE!!!

    Before uninstalling save your Sims folder from your C drive and documents on your desk tops. It will take a few minutes to do this. But I think you should uninstall and install the deluxe and you could probably sell the other disk that you're not using on Ebay :) Hope this helps.

They might but i think when u unstall it ask if u want to save your sims and there lots but not for sure. That is what it did when i uninstalled the sims pet stories.
