Binaural beats are simply a series of tones and pulses and work with your brainwave frequencies as opposed to your ears. I wouldn't think they would do any harm to your ears. However I agree with the below response in that you should likely only listent to them for a max of 2 hours or less at a time in order to give your ears a break from the headphones.
