Why do people stand at the bus stop when they aren’t catching the bus?

  • I get so annoyed when I see a group of college snob a*s kids who are just hanging at the bus stop and they leave when the bus comes and they aren’t waiting for their friend to get on the bus but instead, THEY STAND THERE LIKE IDIOTS AND HOG UP THE BUS STOP AND DON’T EVEN WAIT FOR THE BUS!! WHY IS THAT!?!!! I am even thinking and one time said to them: “Jez this isn’t a god damn friend party reunion hangout!! This is a bus stop!!!”

    I can see how it could be annoying. However, I go to college and when my friend is waiting for the bus, I wait for her even though I offer her a ride in my car. I just want to wait at the bus stop until the bus gets there just to talk and what not because usually it's somewhat dark and creepy, etc. Sometimes I'll be waiting to cross the road and the bus stops and I forget that he/she may be waiting for me and I do a hand gesture that says "Sorry" or whatever. Ha

maybe they just like to hangout there like there are ppl who hangout in the parkinglot of the grocerystore where im from for no other reason than to hangout and talk
