How come when you ask a serious question on here hoping for good answers people try to give ignorant answers?

Maybe you cannot get a date because you *come off* as pathetic. The question you posted below was boring, repetitive, and by consequence: much much longer than it needed to be. No one wants to date someone annoying. You need a therapist, not us. You just poured your feelings out. Ask a question, not tell us a story. People are not just saying you are gay because of your friends, they are saying you are "gay" because of how you behave. We are the ignorant ones? Sorry, it sounds like you have a very small amount of life experience (and, please do not write me an essay about how hard you have had it, i do not want to know, bear in mind i said it "sounds like"). I am 25 years old, a lot of us on here have much more experience than you. Just because you disagree with something, does not mean it is ignorant. You need to look up that word, and start accepting other people's perceptions as not completely invalid. In general, why do people love to do "this"? How old are you, 5? This is the internet. I think moreso, people are being mean to you because they think you need a swift kick to knock some sense into you. You are out of control, and need to stop wallowing in your own unhappiness, and start making life what you want it to be. This was not the nicest answer ever, but you should be able to deal with it. It contains actual critiques of what you might be doing wrong. Furthermore, stop being so freaking sensitive. You post something on the internet: you get what you get. No need to cry about it.

I totally agree!! i dont know why but some people are just like that. Just keep trying eventually u will get a good answer thats what i do. Best section to post is in pshycology section (alot of smart people there) Etiqute section (smart ppl here too), beauty and fashion section, and thats all i can think of at the moment. Cultres and group section is one of the WORST places to post a question where u want HONEST answers same with POLLS and SURVERy.. worst place if ur looking for serious answers.

Chill out. Those people were probably trolls, their answers have already been removed so everyone else must have found them just as stupid. Anyway, I'm sorry to say you're in the wrong place. As are a lot of people on Yahoo Answers. It sounds like you are looking for some sort of emotional support or something. There's no advice people on here can give you about the fact that your life is going bad. There is not enough information for us to give any sort of advice or anything. The fact is a lot of gay people are in denial about it so when people try so hard to deny it, it is going to attract attention and people will suggest to you that you're in denial. It is very unusual for guys to have a lot of female friends. Those who do are either gay or the popular guy, since you're not the 'stud' then they assume it is the other. But quiet nice guys also get along well with girls. I hate to say it, but there is a good chance that despite not being gay, everyone in real life is convinced you are gay so you will get treated like a gay guy thus... it is essentially the same as being gay. I don't know what to say to you except that it's in the past and high school is stupid. Everytime you move like college, job etc you have a chance to start a fresh and reinvent yourself. If you are so unlucky in love or whatever, then maybe you should see a counsellor to see if you have any baggage or quirks that are scaring people off. You can talk it through with them, leave it behind and move forward onto something new. I don't think you're gay, at all. I don't see why it matters anyway. I guess when people can't answer the question they just have a random guess and try to amuse themselves. This has happened to me. When I asked my questions it wasn't about relationships it was about science actually, but people still jumped in to give comments like that.
