Why are Chinese restaurants so busy on Sunday nights?

How can I "POLITELY" tell my friend that I much prefer to just play pool on Sunday nights..?

• Me and my friend usually play pool on Sunday nights about twice a month. However, lately he plays poker on Sunday afternoons. But he says during the week that we can play pool on Sunday night around 8 pm. However, the last new Sundays he cancelled and said that he was tired after poker and was tired to play pool. Anyways, last night my friend called me to go out for a few drinks. I reluctantly agreed to go. But he heard the tone of my voice and said "Hey, it's upto you man if u wanna go. But you sound like you don't want to go." Anyways, I had more than a few drinks. Almost by the end of the night, I vomited in the bathroom of the bar. I also had to pay nearly $20 in cab fare to get home. Today I have vomited twice this morning. I told my friend last night that next time we can even play pool for 1-2 hours on Sunday night after his poker. I don't drink as much on Sunday night while only having a casual beer or two. I much prefer having only a few casual beers with pool.
