How do you deal when people at work dont like you for whatever reason?

Don't react. Some people just won't like you for reasons beyond your control. Here are some possible reasons 1. You are a classic " goody goody." You are all about work and you don't slack off. This may make you look like someone trying to get on the bosses good side. 2. You are quiet/shy. People mistake this for you being prudent 3. You don't mean to have a mean mug, but your countence maybe misread. 4. You do everything correctly 5. You don't gossip 6. OR you are/do the opposite of these things. You really can't win. People are funny. They are trolls and they are haters. AT the end of the day all you can do is just be and do you.

Depends. Do you know why they dont like you? Well if your doing something that offends them, then stop. Be polite and social. If they are just hating on you for no reason, forget them. Dont let them get to you or push you around. Stand up for yourself. Let them know that you are not somebody to be messed with. Ya know?

Check if you stink, or if you're really annoying when you talk to people. There's this girl that hangs out with my group of friends at work and we all ignore her because she's incredibly annoying and smells like BO and crap. Maybe you could ask your boss to ask why people don't like you, and maybe try to fix the problems.

I remain professional and friendly no matter what, and I continue to do the best job I can. And most importantly, I do not let them get to me or bring me down.

I need to take a bit of my own advice here for this kind of situation, but all you can do really is not be afraid to be yourself, and just go about your day. Ignore them. Always be civil to them, but then leave them be. If it bothers you that much, maybe you could approach someone who you think you could trust (although be very careful) and ask, or ask your boss if your team could have a meeting to get anything that's bothering them out in the open--but I personally think that's just asking for awkwardness and trouble. Best to leave it be. If someone is really harassing you, think about making a formal complaint, or if it gets that bad you might need to think about leaving. Things will improve in the long run, I'm sure, they can't keep randomly hating on you forever. Something else will eventually grab their attention.

No one can dislike the person who comes in with a good attitude, and says hello to everyone! And if they don't like you, bringing in some donuts will soften their hearts. When you don't know why people act the way they do, sometimes you need a peace offering. Clear up any misunderstandings over some Boston Creme Puffs!

There's always going to be someone in the workplace who doesn't like you. I just carry about my own business and ignore them. To be honest, I don't care enough about them for it really affect me. I go to work to get paid and that's it.
