How do we know when some of ur contacts are on?

Should i stop emailing him someone i know off Y!A?

  • Right, basically I've been emailing a regular user off Y!A, I'm using a different account cos he's on my contacts, and i dont want him to see what i asked. hes quite a loner in real life, and we email each other quite regularly. we sometimes talk about our problems and joke about a bit. You know, just fun Also, he didnt know what I looked like cos I don't use my real pic on Y!A. So, he was saying how he wanted to know, so I told him to guess. So, he thought I was white, had brown hair and kinda preppy. So, I told him I was black and not preppy and he said "WHOAA! That was like a slap in the face" and that he wasn't a racist but he wasnt expecting that. - I didn't know if i should have been offended. Then, he was telling me how there was a new girl in his class who had my name and was black and reminded her of me. And I thought it was weird, and he said he didnt have a lot of black people where he lived, so it stood out - from then, i havent emailed him back I dont know if sometimes he flirts with me, i could clearly just be overreacting, but he sometimes annoys me by answering ALL my questions (some of them are pretty personal that i put in Women's Health, that i dont expect my regular contacts to answer) But, i asked a question about what label ppl thought i was , and he went "my kinda girl lol. ur a girly girl" - what did that mean? btw, im pretty sure he is who he is, i did some research and made it clear. so dont lecture me about that. also we're the same age. thanks :)

    did you know you could block your contacts from reading ur Q.A's I'd say ur over reacting all he said was whoa If his demeanor changes over the next few days weeks, then its an issue, if not then ur ok.

Okay, well he guessed you were white, probably because as you went on to say earlier, he doesn't know a lot of black people, so he isn't used to it and expects to be talking to someone white, without meaning to be racially discriminative, its just what he is used to. If you are annoyed with him answering all your questions, then just ask him not to, because it annoys you, but be nice, try not to hurt him. Later, when he says your my kinda girl, a girly girl, that means he doesnt think you have any male aspects, so your not a tom boy, and your probly into shopping and things like that, and when he says your my kinda girl, he means, the kind of girl he likes to date usually (probably a compliment or hint towards you) I cant say im sure of all this, but its pretty likely and sounds like he means that Hope ive Helped :)

I think he just worded it awkwardly and just meant he was shocked. Slap in the face is associated with negativity but I clearly think he didn't mean that. I think he was probably more shocked about the preppy thing than your race unless he specifically said that. Anyway, sounds like he just likes you a lot, and what he said doesn't need explained. He likes you and thinks you're girly. He was just being cute/ joking. If you don't want your contacts to see personal stuff then ask them on a diff account.
