How come there are people being rude to me when I asked this serious question about computers ?

People are cruel, a lot of them like to take the piss out of someone else, most of the time it makes them feel good because by picking on someone else's problems, it makes there own seem better and easier to deal with.

You're being over sensitive about this. Most people look at porn, and when asked, don't admit they're the 'type' to watch it. So it's assumed that anyone that gets a virus gets it from watching porn. It's a shallow, thoughtless assumption. These people have no idea what your background is. You don't say anything about that in your question. Another thing.....you asked your computer question in the survey and polls section. That does not give you much credibility for having some smarts......yanno? Ok...you said you were in a hurry...BUT.....your question belongs in the computer section, probably under "security". So, if you post questions in a hurry, or simply place them in the wrong place, and remember...this is a public website.....you are open to all kinds of comments. Don't get your feathers all ruffled over a few off-color remarks when you did actually help to bring some of this on yourself. Also...I answered your computer question.....so hopefully you can get things taken care of in the future.

YOU CAN'T take anyone on this site and what they say PERSONALLY! some use this to just be a smart a$$ and some are around 10 yrs old... so just give them a thumbs down and ignore them...

Yahoo answers is full of rude people. Somebody flagged a very innocent question I asked once and when I appealed the violation notice, my appeal was denied and when I asked "why" they told me it was because I was "chatting." Ignore the rude people on this board, much as you would in life away from this board. The more attention you give them the more they feel justified in their actions and the more they will attempt to push your buttons. Just flag his answer, and/or block him and then move on.
