Suitable for an interview?
-
I want to team this: http://www.janenorman.co.uk/fcp/product/buy-fashion-look-fabulous/dresses/check-zip-detail-dress/9976?colour=grey with this: http://www.janenorman.co.uk/fcp/product/buy-fashion-look-fabulous/knitwear/ribbed-waterfall-cardigan/10287?colour=grey for an interview for a really well known successful airline. The dress actually sits just above my knee which is a good length. I just don't know whether it's better to try and express myself or go for the traditional skirt suit? I think it looks professional enough, but want other opinions. Thanks!!

Answer:
The dress is gorgeous, but looks a bit too low-cut for an interview. The best rule of thumb is to dress according to the culture of the company. Check out what others in the position you're going for wear, and go for something similar. That way those interviewing you can easily visualise you in the job. If there is the possibility that you will feel uncomfortable or under-dressed with that outfit during the interview, then I would advise against wearing it. You'll worry about it, when you should really be focused upon your conduct and answers in the interview. EDIT: If you're really set on wearing that dress, a camisole underneath would probably be a great idea. It just depends on whether the outfit shows too much cleavage when you're wearing it!

its very good! its sophisticated and chic though the neckline of the dress is very low, maybe wear a plain fitted black singlet underneath?
