How can I get over all the bad things I did in my life and forgive myself?

I've done bad things too. Just accept that you are human and you will make mistakes in life. Learn from it and don't repeat that behavior later. Thats all you can do. The past is eternal so there is no point looking back for any reason outside of learning. The present becomes the future.. so focus on that.

Answering this question legitimately will require a little bit more info. Assuming that the wrongs you have done are not related to rape or any other violent crime that you did without getting caught, I would recommend that you see today as the first day of the rest of your life. Work at being a person that you can respect and look for opportunities to redeem yourself. It's obvious to me that you find blanket forgiveness difficult and with that I agree. I made many mistakes in my youth and could not forgive myself for my cowardly behavior. I began disciplining myself to live up to my expectations of others and then watched for an opportunity to correct the mistake that I had made. True forgiveness of yourself comes when you can face a problem that you ran from before and manage the problem with dignity. I had three different issues that I struggled with and each time a similar problem came to the table, instead of running or simply doing nothing, I stepped up to the plate and did what I would expect others to do. The relief I felt that I had overcome these weaknesses was the forgiveness I was looking for.

talk to God. tell Jesus all those bad things you've done, ask Him to forgive you, then ask Him to help you forgive yourself.

Christianity teaches that God will forgive you if you turn to him. If God can forgive you then why can't you forgive yourself? That is making yourself bigger than God.

get forgiveness from those who you hurt. If they don't want to forgive, you just gotta think in the frame mind "At least I tried".

Ask for forgiveness and dont do it anymore.. When God says “their sin I shall remember no more,” he is assuring us that once he forgives repentant sinners, he will not at some future time act against them because of those sins. (Ezekiel 18:21, 22) Jehovah thus forgets in the sense that he does not bring our sins up again and again in order to accuse or punish us over and over. Is it not comforting to know that our God forgives and forgets?
