Do you think what michael richards did automatically makes him a racist?

  • if you dont know. he got angry at some people who were either heckling or interrupting him during a stand up routine and started yelling "its a niqqer" at them among other racial insults. i was thinking that i dont think that that necessarily makes him a racist. for arguments sake. couldnt it just have been a heated moment where he lost his cool & tried to get under the other guys skin? does that really translate into he hates all blacks or that he thinks hes superior to all blacks? that seems like a stretch to me. but i dont know anything else about this guy besides that & that he was on Seinfeld. also as the black guy was leaving the place, he called Richards a "cracker". but i would say the same thing about the black guy. i dont think that makes him a racist. i just think he was angry & lashed out in a heated moment. so would you chalk that up to just being insulting or offensive or would you consider that to be racist?

It reveals a monumental lack of imagination to feel forced to use insults like the N word that actually insult all humanity, especially the person saying it. I take some pride in my ability to make an attack really personal, and not derived from the person's heritage. Insulting someone's heritage is proof you're an idiot. No one but a racist uses the N word. Cracker, please!
