How long does the TOEFL test take?

Spiritually speaking, should I take the TOEFL test?

  • I've been in English-language schools since I was six, but English is still not my first language. I'm 23 and still in university, and I'm thinking that a strong certification may help my resume where my academic progress isn't. I scored 19/20 to a perfect mark on all the sample tests I've taken. Still, from my looks you can easily tell I'm a foreigner. Many graduate schools require a TOEFL score from applicants. Should I take the TOEFL?

  • Answer:

Depends on what you plan on doing with the TOEFL test, I personally did one because i wanted to go on exchange

well if you want to get in to one of the schools that require it, it would seem the wise thing to do

If you need it then take it. You are never going to get anywhere if you don't take the first step.

If you plan to attend graduate school... and the school requires a TOEFL... take the TOEFL exam! If you don't plan to attend graduate school.. now or in the next 10 to 12 years forget the TOEFL exam. But be warned... If you take the TOEFL now... it will be good for a number of years and if you chose to attend graduate school in say 5 to 8 years from now... you may not have to repeat the TOEFL exam... do it now and keep it ready for later... just in case you chose to go to graduate school instead of relying on certifications. Better be safe than sorry. Hope this helps :-)

This has nothing to do with religion or spirituality. But, speaking as a university prof, I would say yes, take the TOEFL. If you are as proficient as you say, your score can only be an asset to you.

Yes, but what is spiritual about your question and why did you think you would find the right answer here ?
