  • my son went with his dad to get a hair cut and he came back with an eye on the side of his head. when I asked him what made him get an eye on his head he said the barber said it meant something he couldn't remember what (he's six years old). I told him it means he has a spiritual sight or higher knowledge but I'm curious how other people would portray it.

I read some of the responses to your question, and I saw lots of ignorance. The eye represents the "evil eye." I doesn't mean that it is evil, it is actually a protecting symbol. Most celebrities wear it. It dates way back to the times of Abraham, (in the bible.) It was used to ward off the the evil demon "Lilith" who was notorious for stalking and killing babies during the night. Today we call it SIDS. It also protects the wearer from envy. I wear one, it works. When people see it on me they say, "I see you have your protection on." If you research this you will see I am correct. The early Hebrews used it as a protection amulet for their children.
