Christians- If God says I'm saved, but Christians say I'm not, why do I need to listen to them over the Lord?

Answer:
You don't. Only God knows your heart. If it's blatant you're not following what the bible says they CAN say you're not a true Christian, but still God is the judge.

This is where it gets tricky...alot of people think that Jesus died for us so we are automatically saved..This is false teachings. Jesus died for us yes,but we need to follow the principles and guidance god has left for us in the bible to be saved, although we will never be perfect.we need to try. for example: If you are committing a sin (stealing, murder, fornicating) over and over again and you keep saying please father forgive me,but are out the next day doing the same thing then Hello? NOO. He reads or hearts knows our intentions and motives he knows when he has a true repentant and he knows when he has a not so true repentant.

It only matters that you know you are saved and that God knows you are. A Christian saying that you aren't saved is judging.
If God tells you that you are saved, I am certainly in no position to contradict Him/Her or you.

Did God actually tell you in an audible voice that you are saved? Or do you just believe that Jesus dying for you is enough to erase your penalty for sin?

You need to listen to the Christians just as soon as one of them has the power to save you without God's help. Until then, you've answered your own question, haven't you?
