How is geology related to forestry?

Where should I look for geology related jobs?

  • I'm preparing to graduate with a 4 year degree in General Geology. I'm wondering where are good places to look for jobs? I'd like to be in the environmental or field mapping/sedimentology field. I'd also prefer to be working in the Boulder, CO area so if anybody has suggestions of companies to look into in that specific area that would be great. Thanks

All large and heavy buildings such as atomic generating stations, etc., must first have the ground rock evaluated. Bridge builders must know the rock they are building on. Oil drilling is another activity which needs to study the rock.
