OVER 9000! no but really there are so many stars in space that us humans cannot determine with the naked eye, depending on where you live determines the amount of light pollution which makes some stars not visible, so in our galaxy alone we have over a billion this of course is not counting all of the other stars in other galaxies (which we cant even keep track of the other galaxies) hope this helps
