Why Is Mars Red?

Why nasa are dodgy not giving us more info on mars and the dodgy rovers doing nothing ? universe?

  • Why on the hell noficationalism within on ward B at the moment sorry.. Question1: How come nasa is sending robotics to mars many times.. and all they just do is take images and waste of money and its just another robotic travel doing the same thing as the preview ones..... Sure we want to see if there was life on mars.. but why do all they do is just look at mars but really not virtually looking realistically whats there as in more evidence rather then just look around dirt landscapes ? NASA will never lie and nasa will never fool you if they found evidence of things... they not just going to make you think like we keep saying... nasa is not like area 51 where u dont no what lays undergrounds. Nasa unless they are the evil to never give proof of informaiton to what they find.. OR IS IT BECAUSE THE AMERICANS afraid of us moscow peoiple to steal the evidenc eand catch it ? secret i bet. But why they send allways robotic to mars and the one previewsly and all they do is just drive the thing and take images but iuts a waste of money and doing not enough ? I mean when this happen and the robotic landed on amrs.. how come us humans on planet earth really dont care much and its not something like BIG NEWS just like how humans landed on the moon? does this mean we are living old and we just careless what nasa does on a nother planet now days perhaps because its becomeing obviously boring with its information they give us ? When humans landed on the moon it was BIG NEWS the world looked at it live but its interesting how nasa sents a robotic to mars but really it was only NEWS for a day and then thats it... but back in the old days when humans landed on amrs... all news on tv was allways talking about the moon and everything aboutt he moon.. today this would just be a day event for under 4 minutes on the news and move on other things about here on earth.

    >> Question1: How come nasa is sending robotics to mars many times.. and all they just do is take images and waste of money and its just another robotic travel doing the same thing as the preview ones..... I'm not sure why you'd characterize science as a waste. And no, they don't all do the same thing. They don't merely 'take pictures' either. There has been a steady increase in capabilities with successive missions. The Mars Science Laboratory is the largest such probe yet. Let's see what this one is packing. Ooo. A laser spectroscope, an alpha-particle X-ray spectrometer, and tools to drill samples from rock. Someone is going to be doing some serious geology on this mission. Oh. And a radiation detector. That'll be handy so we know how much shielding will be required for a manned mission. >> When humans landed on the moon it was BIG NEWS the world looked at it live but its interesting how nasa sents a robotic to mars but really it was only NEWS for a day and then thats it... Gee. It's almost as if the public is less interested in NASA's findings, therefore the media doesn't cover NASA as well. Fortunately, that's NASA is not strictly in the business of show-boating, and the mainstream media is not its sole method of disseminating information. Scientific journals are a wonderful thing. Not that you've ever read one...

Yes I dissagree completely. I went to Moscow recently and found the people there polite, intelligent, well behaved and sensible. Clearly I didn't meet you

there is a lot available on the rovers if you look for it. the two rovers exceeded all mission parameters and went much longer than anyone expected. look at a single county in the SW US and from that information figure out Penguin habitat in Antartica, rain forest in Brazil, and Manhattan. the other thing is that its bloody expensive to get that stuff to mars. to get people there safely it has to be big. robots are cheaper for straight up data collection but not as good for exploration. the reason the info isn't getting the attention it used to is the drop in the level of a U.S. education in the last 20 years, and the continual flow of nonsense that passes for news these days,

It's much safer and inexpensive to send robots than to send manned missions.

Yes it's very hard to get all the information NASA has obtained. You would need something crazy and futuristic like a computer and an internet connection to find out "secrets" like that. You do realize that the latest rover hasn't actually gotten there yet right?

They don't just take pictures. The rovers do spectrographics analysises (is that even a word?) of rocks, aside of taking pretty pictures.
