What was the movie about a kid who gives advice to the president?

  • the kid had a crush on a girl who made him cheat for her by hacking the school website or something like that. He also chats with the president online and gives him advice about running his re-election. When the president finds out about the kid, he still asks for advice, but the kid asks for his homework to be done instead. In the end, the President tells the world about getting advice from the kid, and it causes the kid to get mad. I forgot how they resolved it, but the kid eventually goes out with his daughter because the last scene was of the kid and the daughter leaving a limo about to go to his school dance.

Great movie but the final disposition of the characters was semi-distressing. Williams break out role. Proved he could really act. Great supporting cast of young actors. Some have grown into new roles. A movie about life and death, friendship and loss. But taught to endeavor in your focus on the 'lesson', focus on the 'day'. Thanks for asking the question. Someone saw a movie that didn't have a car chase or explosion.
