    I don't know about Australia but here in USA you can go to basically any school or university. If you have local community colleges where you are check into that. See if they offer a degree in film. You would take your basic stuff like math, writing and so on. Then you also have your film classes like screenwriting, editing and some others Another thing you can try is see if there are local art house theaters where you live and if they offer any film contests. Here at one of our theaters they have short film contest every month. Try something like that, enter your films into contests and such

heeey i want to be the same things so in high school i took communication technology its a class where you literally study film and make student videos also there is a school that is all over America and its called The Art Institute and it has unlimited amounts of class that have to do with art, so in your case - film making also another thing to do, which is risky, is move to Los Angelas, and attempt to make it big on your own, some actors/directors have done that and have successfully made it big, so who knows, you might make it big too i wish you the best
