i saw the karate kid and it was pretty good, it was definately worth seeing in the theaters. I had low expectations and I got blown away it was pretty damn good but not as good as the original, but then again no movies are as good as the originals.

According to Roger Ebert Karate Kid is actually quite a good movie, though I'm sure I won't see it myself. Splice is supposed to be alright if you like a sci-fi Horror kind of thing. Get Him to the Greek is a surprisingly good comedy.

Actually, in my opinion, The Karate Kid was REALLY good. It's very well acted, the action scenes are really well done, and it just an all around good movie. Some people say they didn't like it, but it is just a matter of opinion. I personally went in not wanting to see it, but when it was over, I was very impressed. I actually recommend seeing it. It's definitely worth the admission price. It's a little long, though. But it goes pretty quick.
