    I recently started watching a TV show on hulu.com called "Wire in the Blood". It sounds like something that you would like. Plus it's a show so there are like two dozen episode so there's plenty to see. It's about a psychotherapist who helps the cops catch killers. Kinda like a TV show version of "Silence of the Lambs". There's a little nudity and some adult language so you will need to open a (free) account there to watch that particular show since it has a mature theme.
