How Can I Change The Format Of 3gp to mp4?

How can i change real player to itunes(the icon) but it's mp4 format.?

  • i got a mp4 file from a friend and i wish to sync them to my ipod but it says. it could not sync because it was not found. as i transfer them to my desktop,. the file appeared to be a real player icon. but it's mp4 format. it think the solution is to change the icon to itunes mp4 icon. so that i can sync them,,, can you help me how. pleasseeeeee . :((

    Right click on the file there you will find open with, then chose program select eh program you want (it will change forever). and check the box in the bottom saying always open.................... click ok/apply. and try again good luck

open ur file using 'open with-choose the program-itunes' make sure tht u should mark the check in box 'always open with'....

right click on the file, and go to properties, change default player and itunes should be in the list so just click itunes and the icon will change, if that does not work, burn the file on a disc then rip them through itunes, if that does not work you will need a softare to turn that mp4 into itunes format,

If you've got a MP4 file, the process to sync it to your iPod is very easy. #1. Make sure you have the newest iTunes and make sure everything is new and updated. #2. Connect your iPod to the computer. #3. Put the MP4 file in a folder where you'll remember. Best not to put it on the Desktop by itself. #4. In iTunes, go File>Add File To Library... Then locate your file. #5. The MP4 File should now be in your Movies Library, check there and if it isn't then probably iTunes doesn't accept that MP4 because it might be corrupt. If it doesn't work, try right clicking on the MP4 File and go down and click 'Properties' and then you'll be presented with a menu. Click on 'Change' next to Default Program and search for iTunes. #6. Sync to iPod. If it doesn't work, try googling your problem. You never know what you might find :)
