Not a drama: I Love You, Man (2009). Jason Segal + Paul Rudd - One of my fav Bromance movies ever. Not a Bromance: The Truman Show (1998) Jim Carrey (w/ Ed Harris and Laura Linney) - Awesome drama, another perfect 10. Up in the Air (2009) George Clooney, Vera Farmiga - Another heartfelt movie, with ups and downs. Still, not a bromance. This is a romance but still think you'd love it: (500) Days of Summer (2009) JGL, Zooey Deschanel - I can never watch this enough, everyone loves this move ^.^ If you can make it to theaters: 50/50 (2011) JGL, Seth Rogen - Another perfect 10, a young guy gets cancer and it's his story of how he got through it. It's got highs, lows, laughs and tears. Literally matches the definition of what you're looking for. If you're not limiting yourself to movies, watch How I Met Your Mother or Friends, like, 10 season long movies that are kinda in your description.
