Do all actors hang out together?

How to approach a famous person and hang out with them? (Actors/Athletes)?

  • So, usually at nightclubs I go, I always run into famous people, mostly famous soccer players that plays for the club I am supporting. They also attend to same college as most of my friends and some of them even lives in my neighborhood. I want to approach them and talk to them, without being seen as a "material" or a stalker. I just want to talk and hang out, no idea why, but yes. I am a really shy person and meeting a stranger is a real problem, let alone a famous person (I'd be very nervous) I hung out with a band that was really famous, but my friend introduced me to them and I didn't really do anything special to meet them, so I still don't know how to approach a famous person. And I know celebrities make fun of fans on how they approach them. I don't really want them to make fun of me, it won't be a good first impression, right?

  • Answer:

Approach them as if they were normal people or you could pretend like you don't know they are famous.

The chances of a "civilian" (show biz slang for a non-performer or a fan) meeting a celebrity are very slim. The only way would be if a mutual friend introduced you. Most celebrities meet thousands of different people each year and have hundreds of "friends" whom they barely know. They "hang out" with family and close friends whom they've known for years and who are usually in their own age group. I know this is a common fantasy, but it is just that---a fantasy. Meet some people your own age, hang out and have a good time.
