What is an online school?

What do you think about online school for grades 3-7?

  • I have a friend/neighbor who moved here from Washington about 2 years ago. This year, they are planning to go back to Washington (it all has to do with her dad's job) Her and her 2 little sisters each got a new laptop so they can go to online school just because her mother didn't like 7th grade and because of the transition back to WA so she let the oldest daughter (my friend) go to online classes and then gave in to her other daughters. My real question is, do you think it's better for kids grades 3-7 to be doing online school, or do you think it's better to go to public school/christian school/private school/ whatever? p.s. my mom told me that continuing to go to public school will make me a stronger person in the end and that I won't be as afraid to face things, but i'm really jealous of my friend because with online school she can go to "school" in her pajamas and she doesn't have to deal with all the bullcrap at schools like my school...lucky lucky girl

    Listen to your mother.. I know that is not what you want to here, but you will be a better person in the long run. You will have the opportunity to make more friends, and have the hands on experience of going to a public school.
