I need a cheap university for my postgraduate in Australia.

Do I need to study physics in high school to study architecture at university? (Australia)?

  • I am currently studying Visual Communication and Design, Math Methods (which I suck at), English, Literature, Legal Studies and Japanese.. Is it essential for architects to be great at physics and maths? Because I'm not particularly good at either but I love designing and creating things (hence, VCD). Do I have any chance of becoming an architect?

  • Answer:

You use software to design. You don't have to be great at maths but if you totally suck then you're going to have a hard time with some of the engineering stuff. Maybe get some extra help while you're still in high school - do the basic maths for HSC so your UAI will be OK

try to take a computer aided drafting class at a local technical or vocational school at night and use some of your work for your portfolio
