How to get music in school?

How do I get a music GCSE for free with out doing it at school,?

    You could try speaking to your school's music department to see if they'd let you take an after-school/lunchtime class - a friend and I did the same thing with my school's art department, due to not having enough choices for the stuff I wanted to choose. It puts a little more pressure on you, but if you manage your time well, you can get the grade that you want. I tend to find that after school classes (I do two) are more lenient over homework and stuff, because they know that your in-school time subjects take priority over extra things. Although, from what my friends who are taking GCSE Music have said, there isn't much homework for it anyway, compared to something like Geography or History, so that might be a bonus for you.
