What are some tips on staying organized in school?

Should i be scared to go to a bad high school? what are your tips for staying out of trouble?

im going to unity center for urban technologies in manhatten. it only has 261 students. it has fights, bad children and everything. but im only going for one year. how do i survive such a bad and hostile enviorment for a year, i dont want to get physcally damadged or orse illed. i just want to serve my year then transfer out. the school doesnt have scanners, so anybody could bring a gun, or a knife, and its a small school , people will notice me. ANYBODY HAS TIPS FOR SURVIVING A BAD HIGH SCHOOL WITH PEOPLE THAT MIGHT Carry guns and knifes. KEEP IN MIND ITS A SMAL SCHOOL 261 STUDENTS
