Is it possible to go to community college and a CSU?

Not graduating, going to community college.?

Okay so, I am a senior in highschool, and I am behind credits, I probably won't even make it up by then since I', going to community college. By the way, I'm from California so if you know about community colleges in California, please answer. Okay, can you go to community college without a highschool diploma? I wanna go to santa monica for 2 years, and do my best instead of screwing up again like I did in highschool. soooo the thing is I wanna tranfer into either a Cal state, or a University for example (UCLA) or UCSD or whatever UC there is, can I do that? I heard highschool wouldn't matter anymore after community college. You don't need a diploma to get in community college right? you can still transfer into a UC? I need a real answer. Because some people say you need diploma for community college which I don't think so that's only for csu, and uc right? please answer.
