Is it good working for a school district?

Is it possible that my school is going to make me repeat a year?

  • Ok so heres my situation, at the beginning of the school year I moved, so I was going to attend a different school in a different district, since I moved in august, me and my mom went to the new school to enroll, they told me I couldn't enroll with out proof of address (btw that school is really strict when it comes to kids lying about where they live to get into there school) Since I barely moved in we haven't received a bill for 3 weeks, so I was delayed from starting school on the first day, and since my old district doesn't allow students to attend there schools if they don't live in the district so yeah, ok so I started school 3 weeks late, and I didn't know any of the stuff they were doing, the only classes that I knew what to do was in World history and Language arts, but in math (I have always sucked at math, my whole life) I was so behind. The year before, in 9th grade I was taking algebra and so I put in geometry, I was so stressed, I would come in during my free period to catch up but my math teacher always had another class to teach so that didn't work out, and after school I couldn't take tutoring because I have younger siblings and they have a lot of activities to do and my school was really far away to take public transportation, and my parents are always working late, so that didn't work and then I recently moved out of that school cause I didn't participate in one of my classes because I really hated that class and I never chose it, which was swimming, I hate swimming, an also going to a school like that was really overwhelming because I have always gone to small schools and to attend a school with more then 3,000 students was a lot for me, plus my dean really didn't like me because I would ditch swimming class all the time and so he threaded me to bring my withdraw sheet so I could transfer out or he would send me to court and so I didn't want more trouble that I already had so I transferred out and well I was left with no choice but to leave that school, so I transferred out of that school to attended another school, but that other school didn't want to take me in, and so 3 more weeks I kept looking and looking and I finally found one school that would let me in, but my only problem now is I am really scared that I'm going to have to repeat the year because of all this and I really don't want that to happen, and I am planning to only attend this school for that last month of this semester and attend online next semester which is in January 9th, 2012, if any of you have any suggestions please it would help a lot, I am so freaken stressed out with this and if the school districts really cared about my education they would let me attend there even if I have bad grades, my grades aren't the best, I've been struggling with them since the beginning of this school year and well no school likes to take in kids with bad grades but I hope I don't flunk this year, and I really hate school, I hated it since I started in ECE, and hate is a really strong word but yeah and college is out of the question, I not going to college, there is no career I like and well I have another dream which school isn't involved in but at least finish my high school that's all, and the only reason I'm finishing it is for my parents, I just want to get my high school diploma and end school once in for all.

  • Answer:

They probably won't make you repeat a year but they'll probably make you repeat a course that their school requires you to take in order to graduate from their school.
