How can I swipe between Activities with ViewPager?

Does my school's policy for extra-curricular activities make any sense with my given situation?

  • So I am a part of my school's Drama club, and they have this policy that if you are failing *any* class that you can't be in your club or activity until you are passing all your classes again. I'll post the policy below... CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES Telstar offers a wide variety of athletic and non-athletic co-curricular activities for students. These activities are an important dimension to the total educational program at the school. These are diverse in nature and are conducted outside of the regular classroom curriculum and time. Participation in these activities is a privilege and is contingent on a student passing all of his or her classes and adhering to rules and policies above and beyond those for the traditional educational program. THS INTERSCHOLASTIC ATHLETIC PROGRAMS FIELD HOCKEY ALPINE SKIING BASEBALL X-COUNTRY RUNNING NORDIC SKIING SOFTBALL BOY’S SOCCER SNOW BOARDING GOLF BOYS’ BASKETBALL GIRLS’ BASKETBALL TRACK THS CLUBS & ACTIVITIES NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY MATH TEAM DRAMA CLASS OFFICERS JAZZ BAND PEP BAND STUDENT COUNCIL JOB BANK FACT TELSTAR ATHLETIC BOOSTERS BOYS STATE GIRLS STATE CHORUS/ENSEMBLE PROM & GRADUATION COMMITTEES FOOTBALL GIRLS’ SOCCER FUTURE BUSINESS LEADERS OF AMERICA (FBLA) ROTARY YOUTH LEADERSHIP (INTERACT) MAHOOSUC KIDS ASSOCIATION (after school) Eligibility Telstar has a policy that connects eligibility for participation in athletics and co-curricular activities to academic expectations. Grades are monitored by the athletic director every two weeks. A student must maintain a passing grade in every course in which he or she is enrolled. If the student is failing one or more courses, he or she will be placed on co-curricular warning. If the student is still failing one or more classes after two weeks he or she will go on co-curricular probation. During probation the student will be allowed to practice but will not be allowed to participate in any contests or ride to away contests. If the student’s grades improve to passing within two weeks he or she will be removed from probation. If after two weeks the student’s grades are still not passing he or she will be placed on cocurricular suspension. He or she will not be allowed to participate in any activities in any way during this suspension. The suspension ends when the student’s grades improved to passing. But I am also involved in Chorus (which is a class that's part of my daily schedule), and Mahoosuc Kids Association (which is an afterschool program designed to get you more active, and to help you be more organized with your school life, and your homework). But apparently you need to be eligible to do these things which are beneficial to you. The thing that I also don't get is that my administration in my school doesn't have consistency with these policies. There was another one of my drama friends who has the same grades as I do, and the same grade history as me, but they just gave her a warning and told her to get her grades up by the time of the play. But no. For me, they put me on suspension from Drama. I have a meeting with my Assistant Principal tomorrow, and would like to know how I should bring these things up.

  • Answer:

To be honest teachers favorite people. Right now my band teacher is really horrible at it. If you bring it up you'll just get more in trouble as teachers don't like to be sassed with. You need to keep higher grades as grades are more important that extercurricular activities.
