AP Statistics Practice Exam for teachers?

Is this a good high school schedule?

  • I'm currently a sophomore. I live in the state of Oregon. I want to be a dentist, lawyer, something relating to business, or a doctor(eye doctor preferably). I want to know what you guys think about my schedule. I am also attending a Chinese school outside of normal school. My vice principal said that it is possible to try and get a foreign language credit. Just in case I don't get the credit, I will most likely take a second language my junior year. Freshman Year AP Human Geography (I scored a 4 on the AP test) A Biology A Accelerated/Honors English 9 A Geometry A Health 1 A PE 1 A Business and Marketing Management 1 A Sports and Entertainment Marketing 1 A Future Focus A Sophomore Year Pre-AP Chemistry Algebra 2 Accelerated/Honors English 10 World History Health 2 Business and Marketing Management 2 Intro:Culinary Study Hall Junior Year(possible Schedule) AP Biology( I like Biology, it's rather simple and I think that this class is a more in depth version of regular Biology. Never have been good at science but I always end up getting A's) AP Psychology( I'm not sure but I heard this class was pretty easy and the national exam is easy to get a passing score on) AP US History( I love history and geography) AP Language and Composition (It's really hard for me to write Essay Essays but it's easier for me to do in class essays English is not my favorite subject but I'm ok at it A's in honors) Pre Calculus (Math is hard for me but I still end up getting mid range A's) Japanese 1 ( I love anime and manga, I think it should be pretty easy but I heard it's hard but I know Chinese and it is a lot harder and Japanese is similar to Chinese) PE 2 (required) Media,Politics, and Government (required) Excused period(required) Senior Year AP Macro Economics (I think this would go well with my past business courses) AP Literature and Composition It's really hard for me to write Essay Essays but it's easier for me to do in class essays English is not my favorite subject but I'm ok at it A's in honors) or Humanities(really love the teachers and material but very hard) AP Environmental Science (Similar to Biology? I don't like any other science really except for Biology. I absolutely disdain Chemistry. Physics sounds fun but I don't think so?) Calculus (Math is hard for me but I still end up getting mid range A's hard to get the grade though) Probability and Statistics (Math is hard for me but I still end up getting mid range A's hard to get the A though) Japanese 2 (I love anime and manga, I think it should be pretty easy but I heard it's hard but I know Chinese and it is a lot harder and Japanese is similar to Chinese) Excused Period x2 I would appreciate feedback about the AP classes(what were they like, are they hard, does getting a good grade in the class and on the test depend on the teacher a lot (for me personally it does, I think that the teacher is one of the top 3 reasons why students are successful or unsuccessful) how do I become successful in these classes/ways that helped you? etc) I've done one AP class during freshman year (AP Human Geography) but I don't think that really matters. Will this be too much for me to handle? How would you change my schedule? I never imagined myself taking all of these classes. I want to look competitive without killing myself. I know 5 friends of mine that are also sophomore and are in Pre Cal and above, one or two taking AP Chemistry and physics while taking those math classes, and I know a few that aren't at that level of math but are taking AP Biology. I think that the classes will give me at least 2 or 3 hours worth of homework a night. I'm a person that over complicates things, stresses out, and always second guess myself. All of my teachers tell me that I'm doing really well and that I shouldn't worry too much but I don't really believe them for some reason. My teachers also say that I understand the material better than 1/2 of the class( I don't agree with this), I always participate and ask questions( I absolutely agree), and I do my work (I absolutely agree). When it comes to tests, I always freak out and just have "analysis paralysis". I know the answers to the questions cause I always study for tests and that's why I do really well on them but I just can't help but freak out. What can I do to change this so I can feel more confident and relaxed? Thanks Everyone.

LHS? Anyways, you have a 4.2/4.1 because of your AP. You get A's because you are good at school, and are probably asian, so don't take any excused periods-- especially if you want into an I V league. Just some advice for you--- I know the way you speak over the internet is showing that you have a very advanced vocabulary, but if you don't downplay it you just seem self absorbed. (Random fact about the internet) Don't be intimidated by AP chemistry, it's a hell of a lot easier than regular Bio. Since Math and Science don't seem to be your forte, I wouldn't reccomend going into business-- which it seems to look like you are planning on doing. It sounds like you are a hard worker, which is great, and just a suggestion I think you would be an excellent computer engineer. Otherwise, if you're not looking for IV league, don't kill yourself. Feel free to take some non AP classes, as you have very above average grades.
