I screwed up in High School. What professional, high paying jobs can I still get? Help!?
-
I am now 20, married, and mature. However, I messed around a lot in high school and basically have already RUINED my chances for several of the careers that I was very interested in (FBI, Lawyer). I'm not really interested in any jobs in the medical field, because I honestly don't think that I will be able to handle that type of career. And, since I don't want to spend my life as a nurse in a two-bedroom apartment, there aren't really great medical jobs I could get with my school record anyhow. So, what can I do? All I have right now is a GED, and two years of community college under my belt. I am intelligent and have a lot of potential but it seems that most of the best and highest-paying jobs are unattainable without a spotless high school/college record. The only reason I can't be an FBI agent is because I definitely smoked a lot of pot while I was a teen, lol. And I guess they care for some reason. So, suggestions for how to FIX my situation? Or suggestions for good jobs? Thanks

yeah well for fbi specifically its a college degree and relevant experience, and all the federal law enforcement agencies will require a polygraph and ask you about any previous drug usage, go for a trade, they make tons and tons of money, or just get something business oriented, an associates in something like that would be useful
