2009: A twelve year old girl was being driven to school in a beaten-down 1997 Dodge, in the middle of winter, at seven in the morning. This was one of the best days of her life. After fundraising for weeks, the car trunk was flooded with 52 boxes full of happiness. To achieve and surpass her goal of 50 boxes, she had to be persistent, committed and have many other traits. The girl possessed many traits similar to an entrepreneur’s. Every time she drew a new poster or knocked on a new door, she showed these traits. It seemed so easy to all her friends, but to make a professional-looking poster, keep rolls of gift wrap and shoe boxes tallied for stock, plan ahead, work up the nerve to talk to complete strangers into donating items and money to her cause, just to have most of the 200 doors she knocked on slammed on her face, but still go on and try knocking on the next door while maintaining a positive attitude was nerve-wracking. But in the end, the outcome was worth it: 52 boxes full of toys and soap for Project Christmas Child, by Samaritan’s Purse. Besides, knowing that she was making some kid elsewhere happy made her ecstatic. I reached my fundraising goals by expressing the traits of an entrepreneur. So, that day, when I was being driven to school, I felt so proud and so helpful. I felt I was one step closer to fulfilling my dream of owning a business. how is it? Answer:
It depends what Grade you're in really. If you're in Grade 7-9, it is decent. Probably an 8 or 9 out of 10. If, however, you are in high school, I would say a 7 for Grade 10, a 6 for Gr. 11, and a 5 for Grade 12.
