How to get credits for homeschooling?

Will a university let me get in if i did one year of homeschool?

  • Hi I was wondering if I did homeschooling for 9th grade and for 10th and 11th grade go back to high-school and get A-B 's and don't go to 12th grade because I have all my credits to graduate will a university except me ...? Because I don't think they like the homeschooling bt I only went for freshmen year and have all my credits Jr year because of taking summerschool and 7th period please help ?

    As far as I know, as long as your test scores (AP, SAT, ACT, etc.) are good, then colleges don't look down on people who were homeschooled. I go to a top engineering school and a number of other students were either partly or completely homeschooled. However, it is really important to take all the standardized tests like SAT2, AP, etc. to show that you've learned the same level of material as kids at regular schools.

they will accept you if you took the required tests-- such as the SATs it's fine that you were homeschooled and are not going to the 12th grade in fact, i think that's great it really makes you stand out and makes you look accomplished
