Is there any film school online?

Can I get in to this film school after dropping out of high school?

  • hey! stop! don't just go with your narrow minded view of not going to college=failure! ~DFFB~ http://www.dffb.de/flash/ ~i'm a sophomore in high school and want to drop out in interests of studying the many things that i want to study, see places of the world and truly learn things. ~The school is a German film school that you have to be 21 to enroll. ~If you know anything about the film world, it's very innovative and you can be self employed. (you don't even have to go to film school anymore to be a film maker) ~I strongly believe in everything Ken Robinson says, plus MUCH more. (loads more) think about it. i just turned 16. In 5 years from now. I can grow SO much! learn German, French, Greek, and Russian, gain tones of experience in my studies of types of art, and 5 years worth of New Media studying, experience shooting and editing, learning about technology, PLUS! this is the informational age. you can learn SOOOOO much more from the internet than a doing boring worksheets.... but i won't get into all that. ~sorry for the length ~sorry if you've seen me post this before ~sorry for the pushiness or whatever. (people on this site can be pretty sarcastic) THANK YOU SO MUCH!

  • Answer:

Well you stated that your 16 and the film School you want to attend doesn't accept any one under 21, do you think that applying for this film school will look at your former school and what kind of subjects you took ? and IF you graduated? That shows people in the working world that you stuck with it & toughed it out & got your High School diploma. so you saw it to the end? I am sure the Film School has a MUCH higher standard than high school, so learn at High School and then in 5 years go to the Film School ( IF they accept you)... good luck & OPEN YOUR MIND while in High School
